Our lives have been greatly influenced by teachers who helped us mould various aspects of our lives... You (teachers) need to reorient and change your teaching method in the fast changing world to inspire the students to learn and perform well in their studies, Adviser for School Education and SCERT KT Sukhalu said.

While book teaching is central to an educational system, digital literacy can no longer be ignored, said Sukhalu, also an MLA.

On agitation by a section of teachers, he said every job has its terms and conditions and individuals should be aware of its nature before applying. Individuals not satisfied with the terms of their service should not continue in service and can tender their resignation, he said. PTI
