GUWAHATI, Dec 30 � The number of casual leave admissible to all the employees of the State Government will be 12 days in a year instead of the present limit of 15 days.
The Government of Assam has made this provision as per the recommendation contained in the resolution on the report of the Assam Pay Commission, 2008 and the report of the Committee with the Assam Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2010 published in the extra-ordinary issue of the Assam Gazette no.25, dated February 2, 2010. The provisions regarding the casual leave will be applicable from January 1, 2012, an official release said.
