110 students get stipend in Meghalaya

SHILLONG, Oct 26 - Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul M Sangma awarded stipends to 110 students under the CM�s Career Guidance and Counseling Scheme here today.

Addressing the gathering, Sangma said, the Scheme is dedicated to the youth to �realise their dreams of building their career based on their potentialities and skills.�

The Scheme was launched in 2012 providing free coaching to students for medical and engineering entrance exams and banking and IAS exams. Minister Sports and Youth Affairs, Zenith M Sangma, meanwhile said, several youths have benefited under the programme making them at par with any other youth of the country.
