GUWAHATI, Jan 25 - The Zeliangrong Heraka community from all over Assam, Manipur and Nagaland will be celebrating the 103rd birthday of Rani Gaidinliu, a great freedom fighter of India, on January 26, which coincides with the Republic Day.
�She is also known by the Zeliangrong people as the reformer of social evils and she formed the Heraka faith. During the celebration, each Heraka village will organise a daylong programme and recall her contribution towards India�s struggle for independence and her contributions toward the social changes brought about by her among the Zeliangrong people,� a statement here said.
