GUWAHATI, July 9 - The All India Radio (AIR) Guwahati completed 100 episodes of �Covid Kotha� on July 7 which was started in a bid to sensitise the public about fake news. The programme has been aired everyday at 9 pm since March 29.
AIR Guwahati Station Director Rajeev Baruah said the programme was launched to provide accurate information to the public through authentic sources at the time of infodemic. �In the first episode, the then DC of Nalbari district Bharat Bhushan Dev Choudhury and DC of Goalpara district Barnali Deka outlined the steps taken by both the administrations to sensitise the public about the coronavirus,� he said.
