10 Nalbari JNV students to visit China

NALBARI, Jan 30 - Ten students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Nalbari have been selected to attend the 70th anniversary of India-China Diplomatic Relations to be held in China.

Two JNVs have been selected for the programme. While JNV Nalbari functions under Shillong region, the other JNV is Ernakulam JNV under Hyderabad region.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Assistant Commissioner T Sobhan Babu wrote a letter to the Deputy Commissioners of the regional offices at Hyderabad and Shillong region to select 10 students from each school to visit China. The 10 students, with a minimum of five girl students, should be studying in classes 9 to 12 during the 2020-21 session.

Nalbari JNV principal Ajeet Kumar selected 10 students for the tour. They are Neeraj Baishya, Pratistha Haloi, Mariyam Begum, Trisharani Sarma, Kundan Bhattarai, Prachurjya Talukdar, Robina Yasmin, Santanu Deka, Sulekha Basumatary and Asif Ikbal.
