As of 7:00 PM, the Bharatiya Janata Party has won five seat and is leading in 50 seats while the Indian National Congress has won two seat and is leading in 30 seats. The AIUDF has established leads in 13 seats and Asom Gana Parishad has won two seat and is leading in 9 seats. Assam Jatiya Parishad is leading in 1 seat. NDA alliance UPPL has managed to maintain a lead in 8 seats while UPA alliance BPF is maintaining a lead in 1 seats.
CM Sonowal claims victory from Majuli
Guwahati, May 2: Incumbent Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in a tweet claimed to win the Majuli seat and thanked the people of the river island for his victory. As per ECI, Sonowal is currently leading in Majuli LAC with 61,349 votes.
BJP's Himanta Biswa Sarma wins from Jalukbari
Guwahati: May 02: Bharatiya Janata Party's Jalukbari candidate Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma wins the seat with 1,30,762 votes.
BJP's Ranjit Kumar Dass takes the final lead in Patacharkuchi
After the last round of counting in Patacharkuchi LAC, Ranjeet Kumar Dass of BJP secured 76,530 votes, Santanu Sarma of Congress got 17,261 votes and Pabindra Deka of AGP got 9319 votes.
Silchar, May 2: After 10th round of counting in Katigorah, Khaliluddin Mazumder is leading by 410 votes over Gautam Roy.
In Lakhipur after 10th round, Kaushaik Rai of BJP has secured 27,419 votes while INC's Mukesh Pandey got 26,621 votes.
