DIMAPUR, Aug 3 - Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang and various other organisations today condemned the killing of a businessman named Ashish Saha at Signal Bazar here on Sunday.

Police said Saha, a resident of Signal Bazar and a permanent resident of Jorhat, was shot on the forehead from point blank range. An empty shell of .32 pistol was recovered from the site.

Sources claimed that the incident was allegedly related to non-payment of extortion demand. Sources said two unidentified gunmen forced Saha to get into a Gypsy. When he refused to get in, he was shot on the forehead leading to his death.
