GUWAHATI, Oct 11 - Nur Alom Sarkar of Guwahati has been selected as a jury member of the Universal Record Forum, which aims to showcase rare talent.
Alom (20), has to his credit a number of national and international level awards, including the Asia Book of Records (for doing 60 sit-ups in one minute) and India Book of Records (for 55 sit-ups in one minute).
He has also bagged the assist world record for breaking 190 tubelights in one minute.
Universal Record Forum aims to encourage all record holders and give them a proper platform to showcase their talent in front of the world.
�I am happy to get the recognition and will try to do justice to the best of my abilities,� Alom said.
