BONGAIGAON, Sept 18 - A youth identified as Raju Kumar Rai (34) was nabbed by the police on Friday on charges of extorting money in the name of militant groups. Raju, son of Ram Babu Rai and a resident of Bhakaribhita here had demanded money from some local medicos and traders in the name of different militant groups including the NDFB.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case (no.667/2017) under Section 387 of the IPC against Raju.
