MUSHALPUR, Sept 21 - In yet another incident of alleged murder of an Assamese person working outside the State, a youth from Baksa district was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Andhra Pradesh.
Nabin Bhattarai (30) of Daragaon village under Nikashi police out post in Baksa was working with the Hindustani Shoes Company at Tiruwallu in Chennai for the last five months. He boarded a train for home at Chennai on September 16. The next day, at about 4 pm, railway police from Gootty Railway Station of Andhra Pradesh informed Nabin�s family over phone about his death. According to family sources, documents like Aadhaar card, PAN card and voter identity card were found in Nabin�s pocket, and there were injury marks on his head and chest that made it clear that he was attacked by someone. With the help of some of friends, Nabin�s last rites were performed near Gootty station. The bereaved family has demanded an investigation into the incident.
