GUWAHATI, Jan 9 � The second day of the 19th edition of the National Youth Festival saw youths from different parts of the country involving in various exchange activities here in Guwahati. Different venues in Guwahati have already been braced up to host a number of activities planned for the occasion.

The venues hosted different kind of colourful programme besides interactive sessions among the participating States. Organised by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, the five-day long festival is being hosted for the first time in the North East (Guwahati).

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi during his visit to the Nehru Stadium today interacted with participants from across the country and expressed hope that the event will foster a sense of brotherhood among the youths.

Gogoi was accompanied by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Ajit Singh.
