GUWAHATI, Aug 3: Assam lad Kabir Nath�s contract with CD Olimpic de Xativa in Spain has been extended.
The 19-year-old who plays for the senior team of the club in Tercera Division was in Spain despite the COVID-19 pandemic and has now been awarded with the new contract extension.
Kabir is playing in Spain for the past five years.
He earlier played for Cambrils CF and was the first Indian player to have scored a hat-trick in Spain.
Originally hailing from Assam, Kabir�s parents � Dr Kalpajeet Nath, is a senior consultant physician, who was born and brought up in Digboi while his mother, Dr Geeta Baruah Nath is from Sarbaibandha, Jorhat and is the head of Gynaecology at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram and are settled in Gurugram, Delhi NCR.
