Young entrepreneur develops new eco-friendly sanitisation technology

By Correspondent

MANGALDAI, June 9: The economic situation arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to crores of youths losing their jobs. However, a few young visionary entrepreneurs have transformed this adversity into a self-employment opportunity in the process creating job avenues for a few others. Wasif Saharia, a resident of ward no. 6 here is one such young entrepreneur who has come forward with a new idea of earning through mass sanitisation which will also serve the State in this situation of crisis.

An eco-friendly boiler technology based on real time steam jet wash machine made in South Korea, which is mainly used in car washing can prove equally effective in disinfecting the germs and viruses including the novel coronavirus with it discharging a water solution at 90 degree Celsius. Regular sanitisation of public institutions at government levels with limited resources and staff is not possible. There must be private intervention as we all know that the battle against COVID-19 is to last long. This technology of sanitisation is very new to our State. It will prove to be very beneficial for different private and government institutions, bus stations, hotels, restaurants etc. It will be of double benefit for car owners and also for entrepreneurs already in the automobile sector, said Wasif. We are starting the venture across the State under the banner of Auto Touch, a sister concern of Saharia Traders, Mangaldai, Wasif added.

The water solution comes out as steam at a temperature of around 90 degree Celsius which is sufficient to kill the novel coronavirus which cant survive beyond 57 degree Celsius, said Rajiv Chakravarty, the regional head of its promotion company Man Machine while participating in a demonstration here recently. As a part of its social responsibility, several local public institutions including the DCs court, the District Public Relations Office etc., were recently disinfected free of cost.
