AIZAWL, April 25 � Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA) has carried out a massive drive against drug addicts and prostitutes living in Aizawl city and so far 143 have been detained, CYMA said in a Press release.
CYMA has carried out the �clean-up� drive since April 11. As of April 20, 104 drugs addicts, seven prostitutes and 31 immoral persons have been nabbed. These 143 people include 86 men and 57 women and three gay prostitutes, a CYMA report said.
Except eight, who were taken to Homes, the rest were taken back by their families after informing YMA branch of the locality.
