A special screening was organized for the media fraternity and for the children of NGO UTSAH today that was attended by director Kotoky and Nipon Goswami.

The film was earlier struggling for completion due to a shortage of funds but convinced by the fact that it was a story that needed to be told, Dubai-based philanthropist Jani Viswanath came on board as executive producer, and also pledged her earnings to Assam via her NGO Healing Lives. The film had earlier received a limited release in Assam in January 2018.
