AALO, Aug 10 - World Tribal Day was observed with much enthusiasm at here on August 9, an official release stated.
Senior citizens of Aalo town and people representing various groups in traditional attire congregated to observe the day despite the Covid-induced lockdown.
The adviser and chairman of Aalo Town People�s Welfare and Development Society Doi Ado and Kento Ete, former ministers, said that it is a day for cherishing the proud moments for all tribal societies who need to pay tributes to their forefathers who handed down religion, culture, beliefs and practices so as to curve out a distinct identity.
