A procession was taken out from the Diphu Club along the Diphu town by Jirsong Asong and Caritas India in which hundreds of students from different schools were present.

Caritas India, a global trust of Switzerland, has been carrying out a project on the eradication of malaria in Karbi Anglong district since last year. A meeting was also organised at the Diphu Club on Thursday.

While addressing the World Malaria Day meeting, Bubul Terang, District Project Officer, Caritas India, said that though various preventive measures have been adopted by the Government time to time, every guardian has the duty to take adequate measures against malaria to protect children as well as the family.
