AIZAWL, Sept 22 - World Alzheimer�s Day was observed in Mizoram with hundreds of people participating in a �Memory Walk� in Aizawl city on Wednesday.
The Walk was organised by the Alzheimer�s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI), Mizoram Chapter and led by State Health Minister Lal Thanzara.
At a simple function organised before the commencement of the Walk, Lal Thanzara appealed to the relatives and neighbours of the Alzheimer patients to give full support to the patients. The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared September 21 as World Alzheimer�s Day since 1994. � PTI
