GUWAHATI, March 3 - A six-day national workshop on nanotechnology titled �Amazing Nano 2019� concluded at the Azara campus of the Assam Don Bosco University on Saturday.

The fourth such workshop organised by the Centre of Excellence in Nanotechnology (CoEN) together with the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, it was conducted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, and the Institute of Advanced Study in Science & Technology (IASST), Guwahati.

The workshop was partially sponsored by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Guwahati and Software Technology Park of India (STPI), Guwahati.

NIELIT Director K Baruah formally inaugurated the workshop. An e-magazine titled NanoFlash was also formally released in the opening programme.

The convener, Prof Sunandan Baruah, Director of the CoEN at ADBU informed the gathering that the participants were from different institutions like Gauhati University, Tezpur University, Cotton University, University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya, Assam Engineering College and the Assam Don Bosco University.

The resource persons were from the Assam Don Bosco University, IIT Guwahati, IASST, North Dakota State University, USA, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and Gauhati University.

The workshop included theoretical sessions, laboratory sessions and visits to the sophisticated facilities.
