AZARA, July 10 - A week-long workshop on �borgeet� got under way at the SOS Children�s Village, Mirzapur, near here on July 7. The workshop, organised by Ragini, was inaugurated by Krishna Goswami, principal of the State Art College by lighting a lamp.
Noted artist Madhurima Choudhury conducted the workshop in which Subodh Das, Director, SOS Children�s Village, journalist Manasi Bayan and Debojit Choudhury were present.
Around 50 children of the village are being trained on Sattriya culture, raag, taal, etc., by Krishna Goswami, Nayan Jyoti Goswami and Priti Talukdar.
