Workshop for representatives of urban local bodies

GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - A State-level workshop for the elected representatives of the urban local bodies will be held at the Assam Administrative Staff College tomorrow.

The daylong workshop, scheduled to begin from 10 am, will be attended by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Urban Development Minister Atul Bora. Titled �Uttaran� (Urban Transformation Through Administrative Reforms and New Approach), the workshop and capacity building programme is one of the agendas under the 100-day action plan of the BJP-led State government.
