GUWAHATI, Dec 16 - The Sports Authority of Assam in association with Assam Swimming Association will organise a workshop for swimming coaches from December 17 on different topics relevant to the sport at the Sarusajai Sports Complex here.
Topics like mental wellness, fitness for training, common injuries and their prevention, basic nutrition for swimmers, novice training and swimming techniques will be discussed during the workshop.
Experts like Sanjana Kiran, Elvis Ali Hazarika, Dr Dipankar Bhattacharyya, Kamlesh Nanavati, Pradeep Kumar, Sanket Shinde, Babul Gurung, Tapan Panigrahi, Rabindra Modak and Rajib Dey will offer their views in the workshop, stated a release.
