GUWAHATI, March 7 - On the occasion of International Women�s Day, Prayash, an organisation of the former students of Cotton College belonging to the 1981-83 batch, is holding a programme tomorrow at Sudmersen Hall from 5.30 pm.
Four prominent women who have made contributions in various fields, Nirupama Borgohain, Dr Lakhyahira Das, Dr Alaka Goswami and Rita Rajkhowa, will be felicitated on the occasion.
Sati Radhika Mahila Tirtha is going to celebrate International Women�s Day with a daylong programme tomorrow at Pandit Tirthanath Sarma Hall, Chandmari. The programme will feature flag hoisting, tree plantation, open session and cultural evening.
