TURA, June 13 - A worker engaged in construction of a house was caught by Village Defense Party (VDP) members for molesting a woman in Dolwakgre village under Tikrikilla police station.
Faridul Islam of Kholisabhita in Assam was caught by villagers after the victim, a 19 year-old girl raised an alarm when he molested her around 3 pm on Saturday. He was arrested along with another labourer though the victim identified Faridul as the culprit after being brought to Tikrikilla PS.
The girl was alone in the kitchen of the house under construction when Faridul molested her and also attempted to rape her when she raised an alarm.
