JALUKBARI, July 18 - A newly married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself after she had a fight with her husband at Podumbori located near Jalukbari, last night. The deceased has been identified as Dalimi Kalita Kakati (23).
According to police sources the newly married couple used to have frequent quarrels and unable to further bear the torture, Dalimi allegedly took the extreme step. Police sources further added that the family of the deceased has alleged that it was a pre-planned murder and Dalimi used to be abused regularly.
The police have detained the woman�s husband Jitu Kumar Kakati for interrogation. The body has been sent to the GMCH for post-mortem. Police investigation is on.
