BISWANATH CHARIALI, Aug 22 - In a shocking incident, one Azizur Rahman, a 108 ambulance employee, divorced his wife by sending a text message on her mobile phone.
It needs mention here that the Central government banned �triple talaq� after passing the Bill in Parliament.
The young man from Adabheti village under Sootea Police Station in Biswanath district was married to a woman named Begum of Gowaltali village about a year ago. But since the marriage, his wife has been allegedly subjected to unspeakable abuse. So the family members of Begum brought her back home with the help of police. A son was also born to them.
However, Rahman sent a message on her mobile saying �Talaq, Talaq, Talaq� thrice recently and wanted to finish the relationship. A helpless Begum filed an FIR at Sootea Police Station on Friday and police have started investigation after registering a case.
