NAGAON, June 21 - A married poor woman of Barhampur Ghugargaon village under Nagaon Sadar police station, committed suicide by hanging herself inside her house this morning.
According to sources, the deceased was identified as Bitu Bora (25) of Ghugargaon village and she left behind a seven year old daughter and her husband. The sources told here that the woman had repeatedly failed to pay her weekly dues or instalments to the authority of Bandhan Bank against her loan account and it caused a severe mental anxiety as well as hypertension for which she chose such a fatal way out.
Meanwhile, the local police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem.
