GUWAHATI, April 16 - A 28-year-old woman died today at the GMCH where she was admitted after being assaulted by her husband. Hatigaon police had registered a domestic violence case on April 12 last.
Saheena Begum of Shahnagar under Hatigaon PS was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition that day and she died today. Following the case, her husband Nazim Ali (35) was arrested and forwarded to judicial custody on April 13 last. Police said IPC 302 will be slapped on the accused now.
