GUWAHATI, July 16 - President of All India Railwaymen�s Federation and general secretary of NF Railway Mazdoor Union Rakhal Das Gupta has urged Railway Minister Piyush Goyal to withdraw the anti-labour decisions of the Centre such as privatisation of Indian Railways, ban on recruitment, surrender of 50 per cent vacancies and freezing of dearness allowance.
In a video conference with the Goyal today, Das Gupta expressed grave concern over these decisions taken by the Central government.
All India Railwaymen�s Federation and NF Railway Mazdoor Union have been constantly protesting against these decisions by holding agitational programmes at regular intervals. The NF Railway Mazdoor Union observed �Jana Jagaran Diwas� on July 9 in this connection.
