Wipro recruitment drive at AEC today

GUWAHATI, Nov 5 � The WIPRO will go for a campus recruitment in a big way in the capital city on November 6. This recruitment drive will cover IIT-G, AEC, Guwahati and Cotton College.

Wipro- Global Campus Head Rajeev Kumar informed that this was for the first time such a recruitment drive has been launched in Guwahati. It needs to be mentioned here that all the government engineering colleges of the North East will be involved in this drive scheduled at AEC on November 6.

�We are also recruiting non engineering graduates from Assam. Although Cotton College will be first in the recruitment drive, we are planning to reach out to all the colleges in the state in another two months,� said Kumar, adding that the region had talented students who can contribute towards the development of the country.

The company today announced the hiring of science graduates from non-engineering colleges in India, for the WASE (Wipro Academy of Software Excellence) and WiSTA (Wipro Software Technology Academy) programmes 2015. The programme aims to reach 70,000 Students across 400 colleges in India.

WASE and WiSTA provides an opportunity for science graduates in the Earn While You Learn Space, to pursue an MS (Computer Science) degree from leading institutions like BITS Pilani and VIT, Vellore, while simultaneously working on live IT projects.
