Wild Wisdom Quiz 2019 heldStaff Reporter

GUWAHATI, Oct 2 - The North East State Level of Wild Wisdom Quiz 2019 was held here on Tuesday, in which 200 finalists of the school-level contest from across the Northeast participated.

Hurjyudoy Borah, Class V, and Ayog S Sharma, Class IV, of DPS Khanapara emerged as the junior champs in the competition conducted by quizmaster Abhra Das. The second position was claimed by Springdale High School, Jorhat, and the third position by Royal Global School, Guwahati, followed by DPS Duliajan and Suderashan Public School, Guwahati, a press release said.

In the middle-level quiz, the DPS Guwahati team comprising Adhiraj Kar (Class VIII) and Samarjit Das (Class VI) emerged as the NE champions. The second position was bagged by Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri, and the third by DPS Duliajan, followed by Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narangi, and Sanskriti-The Gurukul, Guwahati.

Organised by WWF-India in association with Royal Global University, in partnership with the CBSE, the Wild Wisdom Quiz (WWQ) is Asia�s biggest and India�s only international level wildlife quiz.

The quiz has travelled this year to UK, Colombia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Nepal and Bhutan, the release added.
