GUWAHATI, June 21 - The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Moki Loyi reviewed the containment plan with magistrates, Nodal Officers, police and other members at conference hall of DC Office today, a press release stated.
The DC said that since there is no medicine and vaccine for the COVID-19, only option is to maintain social distancing . The West Siang district has been doing well right from the beginning and he exhorted all COVID-19 warriors to keep up the present tempo.
In an advisory order, the DC also asked the police, magistrates and Nodal Officers to look into the welfare of the truck drivers who are on essential duties and urged all head of offices to install sanitizers at the entry points of their respective offices.
DMO, Moli Riba gave a detailed deliberation on plans being drawn at various levels. Dr Jombom Kato, DSO dwelt at length on containment plan and contact tracing.
