GUWAHATI, June 17 - At a time when the educational institutions are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Council For Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF) has come forward to organise a series of online seminars for benefit of teachers working at various levels in the education sector.
As a part of this endeavour, a webinar on the theme �Rebooting School Education� with three sub-themes was hosted by the CTEF-Assam on June 16, stated a press release issued here today.
The three sub-themes of the webinar were � �Innovative and flexible school curriculum�, �Mental health of school students� and �Teaching readiness & capacity building of teachers�.
One hundred participants attended the webinar. The resource persons were Prof Neeta Kalita Barua, Dibrugarh University, Nimi Borgohain, Chief Clinical Psychologist, GNRC Hospital, and Prof Nilima Bhagabati, Chairman of CTEF-Assam and International Secretary General of CTEF, who presented their views on all the three areas.
Dr Satyabrata Baruah, Dr Utpal Kalita and Sangeeta Sarma conducted the two-hour programme, the press release added.
