GUWAHATI, Sept 9 - The North Eastern Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India�s Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) recently conducted a webinar titled �PAS-6 Dematerialisation of Shares and Extension of AGM�, said a delayed press release issued here.
Dr Shyam Agrawal, past president of ICSI was the chief guest, while CS Priyadarshi Nayak, chairman, EIRC of ICSI was the guest of honour.�Sudhakar Saraswatula of Reliance Industries Limited was the speaker.
The North Eastern Chapter�s first half-yearly E-newsletter was released at the virtual programme by Dr Shyam Agrawal in the presence of various dignitaries and participants.
Bishal Harlalka, chairman of the North Eastern Chapter delivered the inaugural speech and Pradeep Sharma moderated the programme. Both the speakers recalled the support and contribution of Dr Agrawal as president of ICSI towards the NE region like helping in making the fee waiver scheme a reality, holding the national PCS conference in Shillong, facilitating inauguration of the ICSI House in Guwahati, opening various study centres, etc.
ICSI�s central council member Deepak Kumar Khaitan assured that the organisation would continue to work for the NE region. Nicky Baid, member of NE chapter of ICSI presented the vote of thanks, the release added.
