GUWAHATI, Aug 1 - The Mental Health Task Force and Department of Geography, Gauhati University, organised a webinar titled �COVID-19 Pandemic and Mental Health: Towards Management of Stress, Anxiety and Depression� on July 31, said a press release today.
Around 250 students, research scholars and teachers attended the webinar. Resource person, psychiatrist Dr Sangeeta Datta spoke on the issue with positive motivation citing many instances from reality and interacted with the participants during the fruitful question-answer session.
Chairman of the Task Force Prof Sauravpran Goswami inaugurated the webinar and expressed confidence that it would bring a ray of hope among the students during this pandemic crisis.
Prof Madhushree Das, head of the host department moderated the programme.
