GUWAHATI, Sept 10 - InspiringWomen.in, a web portal designed and developed by a group of Assamese youths, has initiated a platform for the women entrepreneurs.

Initiated and designed by a group led by Arindam Bora, a Guwahati-based IT professional, the portal presents a list of women entrepreneurs who have changed the start-up landscape of Assam with their grit, determination and strength of purpose.

According to Bora, the initiative aims to provide the right tools that help the start-up businesses run by women entrepreneurs expand.

�We aim to create the required platform for idea exchange, business advertising, entrepreneurship awareness, development, marketing and digital support which can help the businesses grow. Our passion for entrepreneurship and its resounding global resonance is only matched by the zeal to bring business women onto a single platform for free-flowing exchange of ideas and visions,� he said.

So far, the website has included profile and success stories of several women entrepreneurs of the State.

The founder of the website stated that they have a mission to provide a forum for women entrepreneurs to grow professionally through networking and business opportunities and to improve the visibility of women-run enterprises of Assam through innovative techniques of online marketing.

It also aims to encourage women to share resources, best practices and experiences to inspire more successes and to create peer support for women entrepreneurs in varied businesses.

�We aim to create a robust ecosystem of women entrepreneurs who connect regularly to exchange best practices, new ideas and widen their areas of opportunities,� Bora added.

In the coming days, the website is planning to get into the growing networks of women entrepreneurs that will showcase the products and services marketed and promoted by women. Through the website, participating women entrepreneurs can also interact with each other and promote their products with like-minded people who are already members on the portal.
