GUWAHATI, Sept 30 � Sun-lit, fair weather is expected over the NE region in general during the Puja days this time. However, it is also expected that light rain at isolated places over the region may also occur during the Puja days. Meteorologist Sunit Das of the Borjhar-based Regional Meteorology Centre (RMC) here told this newspaper this afternoon that it is expected that the sky over the region would remain mostly clear during the Puja days, even as there are possibilities of light rain occurring at isolated places over the region during the period.
Elaborating, the meteorologist said, under the influence of two cyclonic circulations in the neighbourhood, light rain may occur at isolated places over the region.
