GUWAHATI, Dec 13 - NDA constituent Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) today said that it respects the verdict of the electorate of rural Assam and congratulated the BJP on its success in the panchayat polls.
AGP president and Agriculture Minister Atul Bora said that the regional party will take recourse to introspection and take steps to regain its base across Assam.
AGP and BJP � partners in the ruling alliance � had contested the panchayat polls separately.
