KOHORA, Feb 13 � Union Water Resources Secretary UN Panji, along with the Chairman of Brahmaputra Board Raju Nair, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam Dr Surajit Mitra and State Water Resources Secretary NC Das today visited Kaziranga National Park. They were accompanied by DFO, Kaziranga DD Gogoi.
The officials were received by officials of District Administration of Golaghat at Geleki helipad here. Official sources said that the team came from Matmora after inspecting the progress of work related to Geo-tube and Anti-erosion measures.
The visiting team will visit Majuli River Island and Dhalla-Hatikhuli area tomorrow to check the anti-erosion measures undertaken by the Brahmaputra Board.
