Vyapar Mala Express in Tripura

GUWAHATI, Aug 5 - The first Vyapar Mala Express, a special cargo service started by the Indian Railways, reached Jirania in Tripura on Tuesday from the Kishanganj Railway Station in Delhi.

Traders can book part of the goods-carrying rake as per their requirement or supply order in the Vyapar Mala Express.

�This facility by the railways is a golden opportunity for small and medium business houses and traders to transport products to any part of the country by railway speedily within a short time... The train started from the Delhi Kishanganj station on August 1 and reached Jirania yesterday morning after covering a distance of 2,360 km in 68 hours,� Subhanan Chanda, Chief Public Relations Officer of NF Railway, said today.

He added that the special service train carried wheat, rice and pulses.
