GUWAHATI, July 8 - The Athletic Federation of India (AFI) today held an online video conference with the officials of the district associations under Assam Athletic Association.
Anchored by AFI treasurer PK Srivastav, president Adille J Sumariwalla also took part in the conference.
Assam pride Hima Das was highly praised by the AFI officials and hoped Assam will be able to produce more athletes of international standard.
State athletic body president Lakhya Konwar welcomed the AFI officials in the conference where officials of 40 districts took part, a release said.
