GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - On the third day of the four-day Group B Ranji Trophy match at the St Xavier�s College Ground, Thumba, Mumbai today, Vidarbha completed their first innings at 416.
After the second day being washed out yesterday, Vidarbha resumed their innings at 254 for three and reached a comfortable total.
Ganesh Satish remained their leading scorer with a deserving 105 which he scored off 199 deliveries. His knock was included with 9 boundaries and a six.
For Assam, offie Sarupam Purkayastha walked away with a five-wicket haul giving away 133 runs.
Assam openers Pallav Das (37) and young Rahul Hazarika (34) failed to hit form while Amit Verma was out for five only.
