GUWAHATI, Dec 2 - Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived this evening in Guwahati on a two-day visit to the State.
He was received at the LGBI Airport by Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal among others.
The Vice President will stay overnight at Raj Bhavan. Representatives of various organisations called on Naidu at Raj Bhavan this evening.
Tomorrow, Naidu will take part in two programmes. He will be the chief guest at the launch of the Deen Dayal Divyangyan Sahajya Achoni at the Sarusajai Stadium and also attend a programe organised by a local media group at the Sankaradeva Kalakshetra. He will leave for Delhi in the evening.
