IMPHAL, April 29 - People for Animals Manipur observed World Veterinary Day in Ukhongshang and Thoubal Achouba in Thoubal district on Sunday.
Free veterinary camps were organised at the two venues, where more than 300 domestic animals and livestock were given treatment free of cost.
Officials of the State Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department also conducted a vaccination programme. Veterinary experts also conveyed the importance of vaccination and other intervention programmes under the theme �Value of Vaccination�, said L Biswajeet Meitei, managing trustee of PFA Manipur.
