Satyen Bora
Veteran sports personality passes away
GUWAHATI, March 4: Satyen Bora, a renowned sports personality of the State passed away at his Zoo Road residence on March 3 evening. He was 89.
Bora was a noted footballer of the State as well as a national level commentator. He was also a known sports organiser and was a former vice president of the Assam Olympic Association. He was a sports pensioner as well.
He leaves behind a son and a daughter. His death leaves a pall of gloom in the sports fraternity of Assam.
