GUWAHATI, April 27 � The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today claimed to have busted an inter-state vehicle theft racket, also allegedly behind the murder of Saheb Singh, who went missing along with his truck since December 14. The investigating agency has arrested three members of the racket, who have been identified as Ashraf Ali and Liyakat Ali today while Niranjan Singh was arrested yesterday by the joint team of CID and Cachar Police. Another accused Mujamil had already died in an encounter with police recently near Rani.
