GUWAHATI, April 1 - Latasil police today seized the vehicle (AS 01 BJ 2291) by which one Abdul Matin Ahmed allegedly knocked down traffic policeman Raju Kairi of the Latasil Police Station three days ago.
The vehicle was found in the Hatigaon area of the city, but the owner is absconding. In the incident, the traffic personnel received serious injuries in his head and leg.
His condition, however, is now stable, according to the officer-in-charge of the police station, Upen Kalita.
