GUWAHATI, Oct 11 - Ved Aditya Kalita of Pulin Das-India Club Tennis Academy and a student of Don Bosco School, Guwahati won double crown by winning both boys singles and doubles titles in the U-14 years category of the Championship Series-7 played at Karnal, Haryana today.

Ved won the singles title defeating Showrya Samala of Telangana 6-3, 6-1 in the final while in the doubles final Ved partnering with Kamlesh Rath of Odisha defeated Abhiram Nilakhe and Adwik Natekar of Maharashtra 6-2, 3-6, 10-2, stated a press release issued by India Club, Guwahati.

All India LIC Game from today: The All India LIC Games will get underway at the Sarusajai Sports Complex here tomorrow.

Around 450 sportspersons from all over the country will participate in the four-day meet where six events � athletics, table tennis, carrom, volleyball, badminton and chess will be conducted.

The meet will be inaugurated by LIC of India chairman at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Sarusajai at 8.45 am.
