GUWAHATI, April 20 � The teachers of the Gauhati, Dibrugarh and Assam Agricultural Universities have threatened to intensify their agitation from May if the Government fails to provide the 6th revised UGC scale of pay package within this month.
In a release here today, the Assam State Universities Teachers� Coordination Committee said that the agitation would include continuous boycott of classes and examination besides paralyzing the administration of the universities. The Coordination Committee will announce the next phase of agitation shortly.
